AMP inserts form the absorbent core of any AMP diaper. They are intended for use with AMP One-Size Duo diapers, but they are very versatile and can be used with just about any pocket diaper or diaper cover!

AMP inserts are available in either 2-layer hemp, 3-layer hemp, 2-layer bamboo, or microfiber. Which type you select will depend on the absorbency needs of you baby and your personal preference. Most families opt for natural fibers (hemp or bamboo) for the superior absorbency. The trimmer 2-layer hemp or bamboo inserts are normally used during the day, and then a 3-layer hemp insert is used for night-time. Microfiber inserts are available as well, for those on a tighter budget! We still recommend using a 3-layer hemp insert for night-time, even if you use microfiber during the daytime.

Each hemp and bamboo insert measures approximately 15" x 15" (12" x 14" after washing) and can be folded once to make 4 layers of hemp or bamboo (6 for the super-absorbent 3-layered inserts) or twice to make 6 layers (9 for the super-absorbent 3-layered inserts).

Microfiber inserts are made of 3 thirsty layers of microfiber, already cut to size - no folding required! Microfiber inserts are available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes to accommodate your diaper's adjustable settings.

Hemp and bamboo are great choices for diapers because of their durability and incredible absorbency. Antimicrobial properties make hemp and bamboo a healthy choice as well.

Hemp vs. Bamboo?
Hemp and bamboo are arguably equal in terms of absorbency. Hemp is known to be more durable, and can withstand years and years of heavy use and washing. Bamboo, while possibly less durable, is extremely silky and soft, making it a deluxe choice for use against baby's skin. Bamboo is also incredibly trim - so doubling up more than one insert in the same diaper for use with heavy wetters is easily done with bamboo.
