Payment Options

We are happy to accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience:

Credit Card

Cozy Bums utilizes PayPal's secure platform for all credit card transactions. Please note, you do not need to have a personal PayPal account to use this service. Once you place your order through the shopping cart you will be directed to Paypal to complete your purchase, and then automatically re-directed back to Cozy Bums once payment is complete.

Email Money Transfer (Interac)

Cozy Bums is pleased to accept payment in the form of Interac Email Money Transfer (debit). EMT operates through online banking as a secure way of making online purchases without the use of a credit card. Please read more about Interac Email Money Transfer at the Interac Canada website.

If you wish to pay via Interac Email Money Transfer, please put a note to this effect in the Additional Information box during Checkout and select the 'Interac Email Money Transfer' option.  Send payment to info@cozybums.ca with the password: diapers

Cash, Cheque or Money Order

We are happy to accept payment in the form of cash, cheque, or money order. Please note, we will not ship items until full payment has been received by us.  However, if you do wish to pay this method, please contact us prior to check out so that we can process your order for you.

Payment Plans and Layaway

Cozy Bums is happy to offer payment plans!

At Cozy Bums, we understand that it can be a bit intimidating to build your cloth diaper stash.  Of course you know that using cloth diapers is cheaper in the long run, but that upfront cost can be intimidating! Fortunately, Cozy Bums Diapers has a solution for you: payment plans!

How it works:

Instead of paying for your entire purchase at the time of order, select “layaway” at the checkout. Then indicate in the comments if you would like to pay via EMT or PayPal. We require a deposit of $50 up front on orders that are a minimum of $300. $25 of that deposit is non-refundable. Once you’ve paid off your order, we’ll ship your order to you via Canada Post Expedited shipping. We allow four months for payment plans to be paid in full.

Canadian Shipping

Shipping in Canada is FREE on all orders over $99! A flat of rate of $9.99 for orders under $99. For most individual items, lettermail is available upon request. It may require removing a product from its packaging in order to effectively ship. However, lettermail is not tracked or insured and is at the customer's own risk. Cozy Bums is not responsible for items lost or damaged when lettermail is requested.

Cozy Bums ships orders every day, using Canada Post's Expedited Parcel service. Orders are fully insured and Cozy Bums will always provide you with the tracking information for your shipment so you'll know just when to expect it to hit your doorstep!

Please have your order placed by 5pm PST the day before to ensure it is shipped out on the next scheduled shipping day.    Orders will not ship on statutory holidays (we will ship the day after, though!)

Occasionally, some very large orders destined for remote regions may incur a shipping surcharge. While we pay the basic shipping on these orders, we may have to collect this fee from you. We will contact you in advance for your authorization if your order is subject to such a fee.

Prince George Local Customers

For local Prince George, BC residents, we are more than happy to provide free delivery on your order (regardless of order total). We deliver approximately once per week, usually it will be on the Thursday. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to swing by anytime to pick up your order directly. We'll contact you by phone or email to make arrangements for pickup or delivery.  To avoid incurring any applicable shipping fees (which we would refund), please use the coupon code: LOCAL at the time of checkout.

United States Shipping

Cozy Bums is pleased to announce US shipping!  Orders shipped will be shipped to the address provided at the checkout.  We do not pull addresses from PayPal or other payment methods.  You will be responsible for any taxes or duties that may be charged by US Customs.  Because of the possibility of packages being detained by customs, we cannot guarantee an arrival date.  Typically, a shipment will take 4-14 business days, but if an item is detained by Customs, shipping time may be as long as 3-4 weeks.  With that in mind, most packages do travel across the border with no issues.  To ensure that your order is packed and sent to you with the most accuracy possible, we will only ship orders to the United States on Wednesdays, allowing our team to triple check your package!

Shipping rates to the United States are a flat rate of $15.99.

Please keep in mind that all fees charged by Cozy Bums are in Canadian dollars.  Due to the fluctuations of the Canadian dollar versus the US dollar, we cannot give you an exact price conversion.  Your bank will convert the amount that you see on your statements to US dollars for you.  If you would like to check the exchange rates, you may obtain an estimate through the Bank of Canada Currency Converter tool

There are some exclusions to what can be shipped to the United States.  Because of contractual rules, we will only ship products from AMP, AppleCheeks, BabyLegs, Bummis, Colibri, Easy Peasies, Nuggles, Oko Creations, Sweet Pea, Teething Bling, and Ulat.  If a US order contains items from brands not listed, Cozy Bums will cancel that item from your purchase and refund you, less a 5% restocking fee.

Coupon code and Gift with purchase policies:

From time to time, Cozy Bums offers extra savings opportunities or gifts with coupon codes.  The coupon codes are only valid at the time of purchase, and cannot be retroactively applied.  If you forget to use the code at the time of checkout or have issues with the code, please contact us immediately.  As long as your order is still processing when we respond to your request, we may be able to apply the coupon code to your order.  Please keep in mind that we typically ship within 24 hours of your order, but often within one hour.  Coupon codes are only valid for a limited time, ranging from 1-21 days, and will generally expire without warning.  Coupon code opportunities are solely offered at Cozy Bums' discretion.

Only one coupon code per order, unless otherwise indicated. Customers may use the coupon code up to two times per promotion, but not on the same order.  If you return a portion of your order and a free gift or discount was granted, and your return puts you under the threshold, the gift must be returned unused and in its original packaging.  The free item is at Cozy Bums' discretion.  (We will attempt to match gender to your order.  The brand and type is at our discretion.)  If the item is not returned, the value will be deducted from your refund.

Sales & Gifts with purchase and refunds

Cozy Bums does periodically put merchandise on sale and offer gifts with purchase.  Those sales and gifts cannot be retroactively applied to merchandise previously purchased.  Refunds are given for the amount paid, less any qualifying coupon codes if applicable.  If an item no longer qualifies for a gift with purchase due to the return and the gift is not also returned in new condition, the value of the gift with purchase will be deducted from refunds.  If an order qualified for free shipping and the returned item places the order below the free shipping threshold, we will deduct the price of our flat-rate shipping from the refund.

Return Policy

Cozy Bums will happily accept returns within 30 days on any unwashed, unused items, in as-new condition. A refund will be issued less the actual shipping charges. We do reserve the right to charge a restocking and processing fee of $5 or 5%, whichever is greater.  Due to the nature of the articles, we regret that we cannot accept any returns or exchanges on used or washed diapers or diapering accessories. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item is not in its original new condition with all packaging intact. If an order qualified for free shipping and the returned item places the order below the free shipping threshold, we will deduct the price of our flat-rate shipping from the refund.

We recommend you wash and wear only one diaper from your order at first to ensure it will work for you. In the case that you are unsatisfied, the remainder of your order (unwashed, unworn) can be shipped back for a refund.

If a return is required, please contact Cozy Bums prior to sending any items back. We will provide you a return authorization number.

Please include the following information with your return shipment:

- Return authorization number

- Copy of your order confirmation (email which was sent to you at the time of ordering) or your original sales receipt

- Your name and contact information

Any shipping charges incurred for the return are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a shipping service that will provide package tracking and delivery confirmation. Cozy Bums cannot be held responsible for items lost on their way back to us.

About returns from the United States: Please keep in mind that the exchange rate constantly fluctuates.  As such, we refund in Canadian dollars.  If your payment method converts your refund back to US dollars, the amount you receive may be more or less than your initial payment due to that fluctuation.  Cozy Bums is not responsible for any dollar changes to your refund.

Please note that Gift Certificates are non-refundable or transferable. Gift certificates do not expire.

Pre-Orders and cancellations

From time to time, Cozy Bums is pleased to offer pre-ordering on new release products.  Orders cancelled for pre-orders will be subject to a $5 cancellation fee.  If an order contains a pre-order or a backordered item, your entire shipment will be held until your order is ready to be shipped in full.


Though the products we carry are made with the utmost quality and care, we recognize that defects may occur. Should one of your products be defective, please contact us immediately and we will direct you in the correct procedure for getting a repair or replacement for your product in the quickest way possible. Most manufacturers of our products handle warrantied returns directly with you, and will happily repair or replace the product on your behalf. Please retain your original sales receipt, as this may be required by the manufacturer. If you are unable to locate your original receipt, please message us via the website for assistance. You can also find the warranty information for all brands that we carry here.

Cozy Bums will work with you to determine if your product is eligible to be repaired or replaced under warranty. Please contact us if you would like assistance contacting the manufacturer of your product.

Please note that customers are responsible for shipping the defective product back to us or to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping costs. The replacement product will be sent back to you at ours or the manufacturer's expense.

Order Discrepencies:

We make every effort to package your items correctly, but mistakes do happen from time to time.  With that in mind, if you do find that there is an error in your parcel, we require notification within 48 hours in order to conduct a proper investigation.  We pride ourselves on our superior customer service and will always strive to correct errors to your satisfaction, within reason.

Privacy Policy:

At Cozy Bums, we hate spam as much as you do!  With that in mind, we will NEVER sell your email address to third parties.  Your email address is used only to contact you regarding an order that you have placed in your cart or checked out with.  Our newsletters are strictly opt-in.  If you are receiving email notifications from us, it is because you have asked to do so.  Instructions to be removed from our mailing list is at the bottom of each newsletter sent out.
